Food Event on Thursday 19th of June 2014 (Lunch from 12pm)

Hey lovely people, 

We are bringing spices in your life on Thursday the 19th of June 2014 at Saveurs D’EbèneCome and enjoy winter with the warmth of spices from our dishes laden with aromas and flavours. Here's a brief description on our full menu course: 


Starter: Chicken Tandoori salad
Originated from South Asia, Chicken Tandoori has become a popular choice whenever we hosting an Asian event at Saveurs D’Ebène. This is why we bringing this famous dish once again in a salad concept. The chicken is marinated and cooked using spices, yogurt and our special Tandoori masala and served with fresh carrots, English cucumbers and tomatoes on a bed of lettuces and light mustard and parsley dressing.


Main: Fish curry served with sautéed vegetables, oven baked aubergine and parsley Pilau rice 
‘Curry’ is a well known South East India dish. It is something that we find very often on our Mauritian tables. We have designed a fish curry for you using the freshest ‘Sacré chien’ fish which is regarded highly by many for its taste and value. The fish is marinated and slow cooked with garlic, bay leaves and our homemade curry powder. This dish has proven to be a winner everytime. It will be served with parsley Pilau rice, oven baked aubergine and a sautéed of seasonal vegetables.


Dessert: Tea and cardamom flavoured Bavarois served with a strawberry coulis
Bavarois is one of the best French cream desserts. We are going to add a twist to the classic Bavarois by making it tea flavoured and adding a hint of cinnamon and cardamom. It will be served along with a strawberry coulis and peaches.

Our menu is designed to make a perfect lunch in this winter. The dishes are light enough not to knock you out but spiced enough to prompt a cold-drowsy appetite. Come along with your family, friends or colleagues and treat yourselves and don’t forget it’s on the 19th of June 2014.
